I have been going to this place since I was a very small child. The original owners were absolutely the best! This since has been runny their children. They are so sweet and helpful. The store is very clean and organized. I can't say enough about sun oriental.
I loved this place! It was my first time visiting and I got a bunch of goodies including but not limited to: mochi, Ramen, nori seaweed, pork dumplings, dried tempura snacks, this AMAZING Lychee black tea, Japanese soda, and sweet potato noodles. This store, while small, is mighty and has so much jam packed in it. The people working there are very nice as well. Will be coming back!

I really love this place, the closest thing to H Mart I’ve found out here. We have other good Asian markets in town but I’ve found this one to have the most Korean and Japanese product selection, the owner is always friendly and helpful if I can’t find something, highly recommend !
We LOVE this place! Especially their Kimbap offerings on Friday. I could not live in Portland without them.
I absolutely love this store . I have been there twice, and both times, the gentleman, whom I believe is one of the owners, is always willing to help and answer your questions . I am just learning how to cook like their culture . They have a great sense of humor and are very down to earth . I have felt welcome each time I have been there . I recommend this place highly. They have a section of the store by the register that you can also buy the kitchen supplies you need .
